If one is asked, “What do you think is the most valuable language to learn?”, most would probably answer English. However, it turns out that that’s not actually the case!
Exam Papers Plus, a UK-based company recently published a study on the most and least valuable languages to learn. They conducted a study and analyzed 104,000 job adverts in the UK on Adzuna to look for what languages employers offer the most money for.
Their findings reveal surprising results. On their “Language vs Average Salary Data”, Arabic tops the list with an average salary of £43,879.00, followed closely by Swedish with £43,565.00 and Chinese with £38,530.00. English only ranks 19th with £28,329.00, making it the fourth-worst language to learn based on the expected salary offered.
